Welcome to Magnificent Seven Wallpapers

  ♠ 21st April 2008

The main reason for making this web page is my love for westerns, one in particular - the Magnificent Seven, a show no longer with us (alas!). One of the characters, Ezra Standish, immediately caught my attention.

Ezra is what you might call a typical gambler, concerned mostly about the next game and the best con and getting the most out of them - at least until he gets acquainted with the rest of the Seven. Then we find out that Ezra has a big heart and a conscience, much to his own dismay, and the dismay of his con-artist mother, who trained him from birth to assist her in her cons...

I've been making wallpapers about the show for some time now, and I thought it would be nice if I could showcase them somewhere. Since I'm an Ezra girl, most of my wallpapers are about him, but I like Vin as well and have made a few about him too. I plan to add wallpapers as I make them, and I hope people will be interested in them.

If time and circumstances allow, I also hope to one day offer my own brushes, textures and actions for download on the Resources page. In the mean time, you can check out my blidget on the right - it will lead you to my LiveJournal blog, where you can leave comments about what I have done so far. I hope it will be to tell me how much you enjoyed the time spent on my page!

If you are interested in finding out more about Ezra and the rest of the Mag7, make sure to check out my Links page. I'll be adding new links as I find time to update the site.

That would be all for now! Oh, and "Watch your back."

"Thanks to the support of the always amazing Mozilla community, we now hold a Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web." I took part in trying to break the world record in the number of downloads for Firefox3; we'll see how it went a week or so from now.

I did some additional tweaking, mostly to see how I can include a "notification area" of sorts to my home page. I plan to include all the changes I make to my pages here, in what I'll refer to as the "What's new" box. It may be of interest to you, and maybe not, but at least it will enable me to track the changes I make over time.

After a lot of work and surfing the 'net, I discovered how to link the pictures in my Gallery to their full-sized pictures. They're not clickable, but you can download them using the right-click on your mouse. Enjoy!
