What's new
in 2008

New communities on LiveJournal, and updates of various websites, especially Zeke Black's. We also saw some people leave, but we hope they'll come back. Miss you, Beth!

Beth Baker's Law of the Range Beth Baker writes long, intense fics - just the kind I love. Her "Brothers" AU is one of the best out there, and she's definitely one of my favorite Mag7 authors. I'm sorry to say that she's currently not writing in the fandom, and her website is (I hope temporarily) down.
Blackraptor is known as the mother of all Mag7 archives, with an extensive index of ratings of all stories that appear on their site. It also offers an extensive screencap index, divided into episode, character and actor categories. You can view the stories according to title or author, and you're encouraged to send feedback to the authors. An age statement sent to the webmaster is required to access the adult section of the site.
BrigittaB's Magnificent Seven Brigitta B offers many screen caps, sound clips and old interviews on her site, which has been redesigned recently. Among them, you can read chat transcripts that the actors conducted with a local radio station, and wich are really enterntaining! There are also links to her other pages, covering her other favorite shows and actors.
DeathDogs' Magnificent Seven DeathDogs' has some very interesting essays about "Fanon vs. Canon", the way the boys speak, and their feelings on slash. Unlike Blackraptor, you can access the adult stories freely as long as you're of a legal age, and the stories are clearly marked. Note: The site is not updated often.
Magnificent Seven BEDLAM Boys
Meg Tipper Meg is also another very prolific gen author, with a fabulous fantasy AU, The Four Kingdoms, but also some great OW and modern stories and universes. Unfortunately, she no longer writes in the fandom.
NotTasha's Fictional Existence NotTasha is the queen of h/c fic. Her stories are numerous, and very detailed, also including some sub-universes within her OW stories. Like Meg, she no longer writes in the fandom.
The Magnificent Seven
Zeke Black's Magnificent Seven Handbook is a fantastic resource site. It has everything you ever wished for, and many things you didn't even know you wanted - detailed information about all the seven, their families and friends, and even What the Seven Wear page; highly recommended!

I will be adding links to more sites as time allows.

If you're interested in linking back to me, you can use this banner. I'd be happy to put up yours as well!
