New resources, accounts on Deviantart and Redbubble, which I'm not using much, due to lack of time. I plan to one day offer my own textures and photos.

I plan to start adding links to the various resources I've used in the process of making my wallpapers. Credit will also be given in the text boxes below each wallpaper. For starters, here are some I use regularly:
| Free CSS Templates | First and foremost, the place I downloaded this template from is called Free Css Templates. They offer hundreds of free templats you can use to create your website. As they say themselves, "All of the free CSS templates found here are either completely free without restrictions, classed under GPL/GNU or fall under a Creative Commons licence. Please read the underlying documentation for each of the free templates." The only thing they require is to keep their link intact. I say that's a small request for such a great service, wouldn't you agree? |
| ~orchidee on deviantart | If you visit this artist, you will find some really amazing brushes and texture sets offered in icon or wallpaper-sizes. Highly recommended, and don't forget to comment and credit. |
| ~PrettyBrush on deviantart | As the name says, PrettyBrush has some cool Photoshop brushes to offer on the site, such as PrettyBroken, PrettyCracks, PrettyLightning and many more! |
| Hybrid Genesis | offers some cool patterns and textures you can use for your work. The owner is now working on setting up the site on a new server, but her work can be found on LiveJournal at the moment. |
| Cybia | You can find some free Photoshop actions in addition to professional ones. They can be found under the Digital Photography link. |
| Action Central | As their title says, "The Photoshop Action Exchange (is d)evoted to the exchange of Photoshop actions among users as a service to the image editing community". There you will find a collection of some of the most magnificent actions contributed by artists all over the world, divided into categories. |
| stock.xchng | The "Stock.XCHNG (is) the leading FREE stock photo site!" The site was envisioned as a place "where creative people could exchange their photos for inspiration or work." You can find out more aobut them on their About page, and once you do that, browse their vast categories. You're bound to find something to your liking. |
| *struckdumb | Another artist who posts their work on Deviantart, and whose offer includes some very interesting textures. |
I use Firefox, coupled with some very good extensions, most important of which is the Web Developer extension. ColorZilla is another extension I use very often. I downloaded Firefox 3 as part of an attempt to break the most software downloaded record. I would have done it anyway, but this way makes me feel like a part of a bigger group :) .
The list of resources will be expanded further as I discover more sites that offer more interesting things I can use. As I said above, I plan to add my own work here - brushes, actions, wallpapers and such.
